What is Advanced Electrolysis Treatment and what are its benefits?

Some of us know about those little blemishes called Skin Tags. We know they aren’t dangerous, but none of us likes it when become caught in jewellery or rub on clothing. They can also become unpleasant if they’re left to grow to a larger size, which they can be more difficult to remove.

Here at Adna Cristina Beauty, Skin tags can be permanently removed with electrolysis treatment. It is a quick, easy and effective method of skin tag removal and is safe to use in all areas. Electrolysis results in immediate removal of the tag and can take only seconds depending on tag size. My advanced electrolysis machine treats skin tags, certain types of mole (soft), leg veins (spider veins), warts, verrucas, blood spots, milia, etc. 

Some people are more prone to develop Skin Tags than others. They can be caused by frequent rubbing against the skin. Jewellery and accessories (glasses) are the major cause. They begin as a small area of loose skin which can grow bigger unless treated early, with their shape and size varying considerably from one Skin Tag to the next.

At your appointment, I will guide you through the treatment process in detail, but as a guide it involves:

1. Gently cleanse the treatment area with a sterile wipe.
2. Applying the electrolysis probe to the target area, which then releases a tiny burst of energy.
3. Using witch hazel and a special ointment to soothe the treated area and prevent infection.

The procedure cauterises skin tags, causing them to drop off. For other blemishes, the energy stimulates the treatment area, reducing visibility and redness.

Treating skin tags with advanced electrolysis is a good way to ensure they won’t reappear. Also, because there’s less risk of scarring, it makes a great facial treatment option.

While the client rarely experiences any side effects with this treatment, you may initially have a little scabbing and redness. However, this is temporary and will be fully healed within 14 days. If the treatment area is easily visible, you may want to consider this recovery time when booking.
