All of us have a different body shape and size as everyone knows, I am sure, but do you really know what is your body shape…? That is a question that many people don’t know, I am pretty sure.
Today I am going to show you some of this information which is really helpful for all of us, specially when you go to buy a new dress or any other sort of outfit for yourself.
The 4 most common female body shapes are:
PEAR: hip measurements are greater than their bust measurements
PETITE or BANANA: waist measurement is less than 9 inches smaller than the hip or bust measurement
HOURGLASS: the hip and bust are almost of equal size, with a narrow waist
APPLE or BIG BUST: broader shoulders and bust, and narrower hips.
Now that you know a bit about the body shapes, it is time to measure your own body to see which one is you and what you can do, just (click here) to calculate it, but you must know your body measurements first.
It is so easy with this information in hand that you can buy the right outfit for you without coming back to the store to change it because it didn’t fit well or too big or too small.
If you are a pear shape, my tips is to make the most of your waist and choose styles that don’t cling to the problem area.
If you are petite shape, do not dress anything too floaty. Crop trousers ans sleeves are on trend.
If you are hourglass shape, too much fabric and shapeless, baggy styles only add unwanted bulk, so well fitted shapes are best, you can show a little skin but no too much.
If you are apple, it is great to show a little cleavage, but if you do keep your legs covered, never have both out ate the same time, if you want to cover up, choose v-neck, cowl-neck or scoop styles that balance your top half with your hips.
