As many of my readers know I have dry cheeks and oily nose, forehead and chin which we call combination skin. I used to have a very dry skin, but my skin has changed a lot in the last few years, I mean as I get older my skin type and condition change.
I have tried all sorts of moisturisers, lotions, balm you name it, some work really well and some are just not for my skin. At the moment I’ve been trying Estee Lauder DayWear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 which the feedback has been 50/50 between everyone who tried the product.
My opinion: The cucumber scent is really soft and refreshing when I apply the cream in the mornings, I can really feel it’s oil-free as it didn’t leave my skin greasy as some oil free moisturisers do. Left my skin very smooth, with a glow, hydrated and soft all day long and worked very well as a primer for my foundation.
The texture is perfect as it isn’t greasy or watery, I was looking for a day moisturiser with SFP and at the same time for my skin type as I don’t believe much in “all skin types” creams. It is also a bit pricey at £40 for 50ml but I think it worth a try. The product takes away the worst of the dryness on my cheeks and didn’t clog my pores specially on my nose and forehead. It’s perfect for winter.
