2018-05-06Lycon Wax is the preferred waxing system for removing hairs as short as 1mm.
Offering long lasting results and ensuring a reduction of pain by 50%. We use Lycon Wax in a very low melting temperature and we apply it quite thick to a perfectly cleansed skin. The wax shrink wraps around the hairs as it dries ensuring all hairs are removed from the root.
All Lycon Hot Waxes can be re-applied on the same area up to 5 times without skin trauma or irritation. The brand merges science and nature for the ultimate in top to toe professional waxing. With Lycon Wax’s easy to use pre post waxing lotions. A must during all waxing, to cleanse, protect, calm, nurture and restore.
Lycon Wax only uses the finest resin, natural ingrediente and aromatherapy oils, Lycon Precision Wax delivers superior performance. They are my choice as professional to work with as service is much quicker and effective. Lycon Wax is ideal for intimate waxing.
Prices at my salon varies from £10 eyebrows to £40 Hollywood Waxing. I first prepared the client’s skin with Lycotane Skin Cleanser, which will remove surface oils, grime, perspiration, pollution, makeup and cream residue. Then I use pre wax-oil to create a barrier between the wax and the skin, and avoiding pulling the skin while reducing skin irritation. The oil also prevents wax sticking to the skin, making waxing comfortable and clean.
Then I start the procedure and also with hot wax I don’t need strip, I pull the wax itself, making sure I really stretch the skin. Once the area is hair free, I use after lotion to clean the area and to help calming skin down. And voila, client is ready to go, of course each area differ timings and technique.
Something I never ever agreed on, was heating wax in the microwave. When we heat the wax in a microwave we can not properly regulate the correct working temperature . Only a thermostatically controlled wax pot can heat the wax to the optimum working temperature and maintain it safe.
